If TV remotes can slip through the gaps of a sofa, then it’s probably no surprise that the Joy-Con controllers for the Nintendo Switch can. And the Switch 2 may be able to help you with its new Joy-Con controllers in a similar way as the first handheld console hybrid, but with one major improvement.
X user @Stealth40k has shared a clip of this feature in action, accessible from the Nintendo Switch 2 main menu. You start by tapping on the Controllers icon, when Search For Controllers. From here, you select the missing Joy-Con, and it said controller will vibrate while beeping.

To be clear, you can technically already do this with the first generation Nintendo Switch and its Joy-Con controllers. But where things are easer with the Switch 2 is that the new Joy-Cons also beep, but the first generation detachable controllers, you only have the sound emitted by its vibration to rely on.
It’s worth noting though that the Joy-Con controllers for the Nintendo Switch 2 doesn’t actually have speakers in the traditional sense. Or at least, they are not listed on its spec sheet. Based on the beep emitted, chances are what the controllers have is a similar sort of beep speakers that watches have.
