Ahead of Computex 2025, Acer has made a pretty substantial list of announcements. Among them are the Swift X 14 which runs Intel Core Ultra processors, and the Swift X 14 AI, which run AMD Ryzen AI processors instead. Despite the name differences, their CPUs are the only major difference between the two, and are otherwise functionally identical.

With that in mind, both variants of the Acer Swift X 14 come with a 14.5-inch 3K OLED WQXGA+ 16:10 display, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU, up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of PCIe 4 SSD storage. Both also get a Full HD camera with dual mic support, and a haptic touchpad that’s claimed to provide more precise feedback and smoother navigation.

On to their differences, the Acer Swift X 14 has Intel’s Core Ultra 5 processor 225H, Core Ultra 7 processor 255H and Core Ultra 9 processor 285H as choices. It comes packed with a 76 Wh battery with a claimed 16-hour battery life, and supports WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.

Then there’s the Acer Swift X 14 AI which gets AMD Ryzen AI 5 340, Ryzen AI 7 350 and Ryzen 9 365 as processor choices. While it shares the same battery capacity as its Intel counterpart, its battery life is only rated at 11 hours. But you do get Bluetooth 5.4 to go with WiFi 6E connectivity.

Then we get to their ports. Both Acer Swift X 14 variants get two USB-C ports, but as you may expect, the Intel model supports Thunderbolt 4 while the AMD ones get USB 4 support instead. They share two USB-A 3.2 Gen2 ports, one HDMI port and a microSD card slot, but only the AMD model gets the additional 3.5mm audio jack.

Acer says that both versions of the Swift X 14 will be available in the Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) markets starting July, for a starting price of EUR1,799 (~RM8,651). No word on local pricing and availability yet, as the brand says that exact specs, prices and availability will vary by region.
