It also won't be available in countries without PSN, even though the game doesn't need it.

Slightly over a year after its initial PS5 release, Stellar Blade will be making its way to PC. Shift Up announced, via the official PlayStation Blog, that there will also be additional content for the game when the PC version of th game launches, which those on PS5 will also be getting as an update.

Of course, as with every PC port, Stellar Blade will also be getting PC-specific features like NVIDIA DLSS 4 and AMD FSR 3 upscaling, as well as uncapped frame rates. Then there’s support for wider aspect ratios like 21:9, 32:9 and even 5:4, as well as hi-res textures.

Unfortunately, it’s not all good news. The Steam page for Stellar Blade clearly mentions Denuvo DRM, which hasn’t has the best reputation when it comes to leaving games’ performance alone. For what it’s worth, Shift Up says that “there is no performance degradation due to DRM”, and that the game will run very well “even on lower-end systems”.

Making it worse, it looks like despite the game not needing a PlayStation Network account to play, it’s still not available in markets without an official PSN presence. Shift Up confirmed that PSN is not required on its official X account, but SteamDB shows that the game either has no price, or cannot be activated in a pretty long list of countries.

The PC version of Stellar Blade does not require a PSN account. May I ask where you live?😱

At any rate, the PC version of Stellar Blade is priced at RM249, or RM339 for the Complete Edition. You can check out the required PC specs to run the game via the PlayStation Blog post, linked below.
