Amazfit has launched yet another smartwatch in China dubbed the Balance 2, succeeding the original Balance from 2023. It looks similar to its predecessor from the outside, but it actually comes with several upgrades internally, including a significantly longer battery life, more durability, and improved health sensors.
The Balance 2 sports the same 1.5-inch AMOLED display with a 480×480 resolution, but it swaps out the tempered glass for tougher sapphire crystal. Running on Zeppelin OS 5, it is paired with 32GB on internal storage for offline music usage as well as support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC.

For health and fitness, it uses an advanced optical sensor to track real-time heart rates and blood oxygen levels, along with support for sleep tracking, stress analysis and fitness metrics. Moreover, it comes equipped with built-in GPS and is rated 10ATM for water resistance, making it suitable for diving. Battery-wise, it can last up to 21 days on a single charge or 67 hours with continuous GPS usage.
The Amazfit Balance 2 gets a price tag of CNY2,199 (~RM1,305) in China. As of writing, there is no word on whether the brand has any plans to roll out the smartwatch in other markets.
