OPPO is reportedly preparing to launch a new budget tablet called the Pad SE. While nothing has been officially announced about the upcoming device yet, it has recently made an appearance on the SIRIM database, signalling its imminent launch in Malaysia.
The Pad SE was listed with the model numbers OPD2420 and OPD2419 on the database last month. From the listings, it is revealed that it will be offered in two variants, namely a standard one and as well as a model with a matte display.
Some of the key specs of the tablet have been reportedly leaked by prolific leakster Digital Chat Station on Weibo. Supposedly, the Pad SE will be the first tablet to feature MediaTek’s Dimensity G100 chipset, which comes with 5G support.
The leak also claims that the upcoming device will be powered by a 9,340mAh battery with support for 33W wired fast charging. It is apparently set to be unveiled in China soon along with the Enco Clip open-ear earbuds, which have also appeared on SIRIM. There is also some speculation that these two products might be launched alongside the Reno14 series, but it is still too early to tell.
