HONOR has officially launched its “iPhone killer”, the 400 Lite, in Malaysia. According to the company, the device is designed with flagship-level capabilities to offer exceptional value at an affordable price.
The smartphone sports a 6.7-inch 1080 x 2412px AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 3,500 nits. It also comes with an AI button on the side for camera controls and visual intelligence features, as well as an under-display fingerprint sensor. Additionally, it has an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.
As for internals, the 400 Lite is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Powering the device is a 5,230mAh battery that supports 35W charging. For software, it runs on MagicOS 9 based on Android 15. The phone supports 5G, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.3.
On the optics side, the smartphone is fitted with a 108MP main camera and 5MP ultra-wide lens on the rear. The front camera is a 16MP shooter with a built-in selfie light.
The HONOR 400 Lite comes in Velvet Grey and Marrs Green, and is available for RM1,299. The company is also offering a free 1-Year Extended Warranty worth RM99 and a RM200 rebate for each purchase of the device. Additionally, the device is available through selected telcos including Maxis, U Mobile, and Yes.
Customers can get the 400 Lite for free when signing up for the Maxis Postpaid 109 plan. For U Mobile users, the smartphone is free with the U Postpaid 98 and the U Family 128 plans. Meanwhile, the phone will be available at RM5 from 2 May 2025 onwards with the Yes 5G Infinite+ Basic Plan.
