Infinix has officially launched its Note 50 series in Malaysia, bringing in three of the five models that have been unveiled. Notably, it is only offering the 5G models while there is no word on whether the vanilla 4G models will eventually make their way here.
First up is the top-notch model of the lineup, the Note 50 Pro Plus. It sports a 6.78-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1,300 nits and a whopping refresh rate of 144Hz. Inside, it runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. All three smartphones are equipped with the new One-Tap Infinix AI∞, a dedicated button for the brand’s AI features such as the Folax assistant, translation, recording summary, and more.

The Pro Plus is the only model in the series to feature a 50MP periscope lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS, alongside a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 32MP selfie shooter. Powering it is a 5,200mAh cell with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging alongside reverse and bypass charging.

Next up is the Note 50s, a mid-ranger with the same display as the Pro Plus, but with curved edges instead of a flat screen. Under the hood, it features a Dimensity 7300 Ultimate with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The Marine Drift Blue version of the phone stands out as it comes with an infused scent.
For imaging, it is fitted with a 64MP primary camera, a depth sensor, and a 13MP front snapper. Backing the phone is a 5,200mAh battery, a notably smaller than its Indian counterpart, with support for 45W charging, reverse charging, and bypass charging.

The most affordable of the bunch is the Note 50x, which is equipped with a 6.67-inch 720p LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 560 nits. Also running on a Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chip, it has an 8GB+256GB configuration. This model also features a scented back with its Sea Breeze Green variation.
On the optics side, it gets a simple setup with a 50MP main camera and an 8MP front lens. Similarly, the phone is powered by a 5,200mAh battery, a step down from the Indian version’s 5,500mAh capacity, with support for 45W charging along with reverse and bypass charging. As for durability, all three models from the series ship with an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.
The Note 50 Pro Plus gets a price tag of RM1,599 while the Note 50s and Note 50x retail at RM899 and RM699 respectively. Moreover, the brand has introduced its new AI Buds, an ANC-enabled pair of earbuds that is available at RM399. Infinix’s new offerings can all be purchased through its Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop stores as well as authorised retailers.
