Google’s latest smartphone, the Pixel 9a, is now available for purchase in Malaysia starting today. Priced at RM2,699 for the 128GB trim and RM3,199 for the 256GB, the mid-range model is offered via the official Pixel store on Shopee and Lazada, as well as authorised Google partners including CelcomDigi, Maxis, U Mobile, SenQ, Urban Republic and TMT.
To recap, the Google Pixel 9a sports a 6.3-inch pOLED display with a 2424×1080 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 2,700 nits. It also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, an on-display optical fingerprint reader, and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Colour options include Obsidian, Porcelain, Iris, and Peony.
Internally, the phone is powered by the Google Tensor G4 processor with Titan M2 security coprocessor, along with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. Its battery packs a 5,100mAh capacity which supports 23W wired charging and Qi wireless charging. Additionally, the Pixel 9a ships with Android 15, with Google promising seven years of OS and security updates.

Imaging-wise, on the back of the phone is a double camera setup consisting of a 48MP main and a 13MP ultra-wide. In front, a 13MP front-facing camera is housed within the punch-hole cutout on its display.
