Nothing sub-brand CMF is set to launch its second smartphone soon, along with three newer earbuds. One of the latter has already been revealed by the company via its international website, complete with details of its specifications as well as pricing – at least for select markets.
According to the product page, the CMF Buds 2 features a similar design to its predecessor, but has significant improvements across the board. It is rated at IP55 for water and dust resistance, while the case gets an IPX2 rating against water splashes. Again, like the previous model, the whole package is available in Light Green, Dark Grey, and Orange colors.

Internally, the CMF Buds 2 feature 11mm custom drivers with Dirac Opteo sound tuning and Nothing Ultra Bass Technology 2.0 for deep low-frequency output. They also get updated Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity with dual device pairing and support for Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair. Meanwhile, battery life is rated at 13.5 hours of playback on a single charge, and up to 55 hours when used together with the charging case.
Other improvements include updated active noise cancellation (ANC), which now offers up to 48dB of noise reduction and supports a wide 5,200Hz frequency range. Additionally, the buds feature 6 microphones (3 on each side), featuring the brand’s Clear Voice Technology 3.0 and spatial audio support.

The CMF Buds 2 is set to retail at US$59 (~RM265), with deliveries scheduled to begin from 18 April 2025 for select markets. Malaysian pricing and availability has yet to be determined, and are likely to be revealed during the CMF Phone 2’s launch come 28 April.
