Nubia’s new budget gaming lineup, the Neo 3 series, will officially be landing in Malaysia soon. While the company has yet to announce the pricing, many local retailers have posted photos of the official prices of the phones, which seems to be taken from a dealer event held by the brand.

According to the photos, the Nubia Neo 3 will retail at RM999 while the GT model will carry a price tag of RM1,199. As revealed by parent company ZTE earlier this month, the series will be open for pre-orders starting 14 April.

To recap, the vanilla Neo 3 sports a 6.8-inch 1080p LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. It runs on a Unisoc T8300 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Both devices feature RGB lighting on the back as well as shoulder triggers and an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.

On the imaging side, it features a 50MP main camera, a depth sensor, and a 16MP front snapper. Powering it is a 6,000mAh battery with support for 33W charging as well as bypass charging. Connectivity-wise, it supports 5G and unspecified versions of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

As for the Nubia Neo 3 GT, its specs are nearly identical to its vanilla counterpart, with a few exceptions. It gets a higher peak brightness of 1,300 nits with an AMOLED display, it runs on a more powerful Unisoc T9100 with 12GB of RAM, and it is packed with support for faster 80W charging.

UPDATE: ZTE has officially announced that the Neo 3 series is open for pre-orders through its Shopee store and it will start shipping from 21 April.
