Tecno has officially announced the price for the Camon 40 Pro 5G, but it has yet to reveal when it will actually be available for purchase. Costing RM200 more than its 4G counterpart, the 5G model is nearly identical except for the processor and the display.
The Camon 40 Pro 5G sports a 6.78-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a higher refresh rate of 144Hz. For protection, it gets an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, along with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i on the screen. Internally, the mid-ranger runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, based on listings by third-party retailers.

On the imaging side of things, the Pro 5G is fitted with a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP front snapper with autofocus. Powering the device is a 5,200mAh battery with support for 45W charging. As for connectivity, it supports 5G, NFC, and unspecified versions of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, along with an under-display fingerprint scanner for unlocking.
The Camon 40 Pro 5G will retail at RM1,099 and will be available through the brand’s Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok stores. As previously mentioned, it is unknown when it will hit the shelves as Tecno only states that it is “coming soon”.
