vivo has introduced the V50e as its newest addition to the V50 series, which includes the V50 and V50 Lite 5G. Standout features of the newer model includes a mid-range MediaTek Dimensity chipset, triple 50MP cameras, up to IP69 resistance, and more.
To start things off, the vivo V50e comes with a 6.77-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1,800 nits. It also comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, SGS 5-star certification for drop resistance, and an in-display optical fingerprint sensor.

Under the hood, the V50e is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset and 8GB RAM, with storage options of 128GB and 256GB. The V50e is powered by a 5,600 mAh battery that supports 90W charging. In terms of software, it runs FunTouch OS 15 based on Android 15. Additionally, vivo promises three Android version upgrades and four years of security updates for the V50e.
On the imaging side, the smartphone sports two 50MP cameras: a Sony IMX882 Sensor with OIS as the primary camera, and an ultra wide-angle camera with 116° FOV. For selfie enthusiasts, the V50e has a 50MP front camera with autofocus and front fill light support.

The smartphone comes in Sapphire Blue and Pearl White colours, with the former featuring unique patterns for each unit. In India, the V50e is priced at INR28,999 (~RM1,494) for the 8GB + 128GB model, while the 8GB + 256GB configuration costs INR30,999 (~RM1,597). There’s no word on whether the newer variant will see a launch in other markets at this time.
