OPPO is set to launch three new models in its Find X8 series on 10 April: the Find X8 Ultra, Find X8s, and X8s Plus. The brand has also now come out with confirmations regarding the Ultra model’s key specs. These were posted on the brand’s official account on Chinese social media Weibo.
According to the brand, the phone will have a 2K resolution LTPO OLED flat screen, with a 120 Hz refresh rate, and house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The Find X8 Ultra will also pack a 6,100mAh battery, with support for up to 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. Additionally, the phone has an IP68 and IP69 resistance against dust and water.
In a reply to the post, the brand stated that the Find X8 series is now available for pre-order from the OPPO Mall and official flagship stores on major e-commerce platforms. According to the brand’s online store, the Find X8 Ultra will be made available in three colours: Moonlight White, Morning Light, and Hoshino Black, according to machine translation. Worth mentioning that this is for the Chinese market, and so not indicative of availability elsewhere.
GSMArena states that previous teasers have indicated that the Find X8 Ultra will sport a 50MP main camera with Sony’s Lytia LYT-900 1-inch sensor, a 50MP ultrawide camera with Sony’s IMX882, a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x zoom using Sony’s IMX906, and a Sony IMX882 50MP periscope telephoto camera. There is also a spectral image sensor attached to assist with colours and skin tone. The report also mentions the brand having previously shared official images of the device.
