Preorders for the realme 14 5G series are now open in Malaysia until 14 April with a deposit of RM20. The series, which features the regular realme 14 5G and a Pro version, is set to launch on 15 April 2025.
Customers preordering the realme 14 will be entitled to receive free gifts worth RM826, whereas customers who preorder the realme 14 5G Pro will receive free gifts worth RM1,016. According to the company, the gifts include RM100 rebate, realme Buds T01 and extended warranties.
The vanilla realme 14 sports a 6.67-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a peak brightness of 2000nits. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, and an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.
Under the hood, it runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset and comes with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The device is powered by a 6000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. In terms of software, it runs on realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15. It supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2.
On the imaging side, the realme 14 5G is equipped with a 50MP OIS AI main camera on the back. The front features a 16MP selfie camera.
Meanwhile, the realme 14 Pro features a 6.77-inch 1080p OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and peak brightness of 4500-nits. Additionally, it features an under-screen optical fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, and an IP69 dust and water resistance rating. One unique gimmick which the Pro has is its colour changing case, which shifts based on temperature.
The Pro model runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset and has up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The 6000mAh battery supports 45W fast charging. Like its vanilla counterpart, the realme 14 5G Pro runs on realme UI 6.0. The device supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC.
Optics-wise, it comes with a 50MP Sony IMX882 OIS camera with a depth sensor on the back. For selfie enthusiasts, the realme 14 5G Pro features a 16MP front camera.
Exact pricing for both realme 14 5G models have yet to be revealed by the company. You can expect this particular detail, as well as its expected availability when it launches in Malaysia next week.
