realme has officially unveiled the realme 14 5G in Thailand, the vanilla model of the series. The smartphone is set to launch in Malaysia on 15 April 2025, along with the 14 Pro, with the lineup teased to cost under RM2,000.
The realme 14 5G sports a 6.67-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, an HDR peak brightness of 2,000 nits, and a global peak brightness of 600 nits. Internally, the phone runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset with support for 5G, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2.
On the optics front, the mid-ranger is fitted with a 50MP main camera with OIS, a depth sensor, and a 16MP selfie shooter. Powering it is a hefty 6,000mAh battery with support for 45W charging, similar to the Pro. For protection, it comes with an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.
The realme 14 gets a starting price tag of THB13,900 (~RM1,817) in Thailand. As for the Pro model, it runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy chip with similar connectivity support, but with the addition of NFC. Of the two models, it seems that only the base 14 has a “Halo” LED ring light for notifications and other features.
