Edifier has released two new products in Malaysia, namely the ES850NB headphones and the ES60 speaker. The latter seems to be a larger version of the ES20 portable Bluetooth speaker released earlier this month.
Starting with the ES850NB, it is a pair of wireless over-ear headphones with 40MM drivers with rotatable ear cups fitted with memory foam cushions. It features active noise cancellation with the ability to reduce background noise by up to 45dB, along with support for the LDAC codec.
The headphones offer touch-to-chat functionality, which pauses playback and turns on transparency mode when you hold the ear cup, a low-latency gaming mode, and spatial audio. As for the battery life, the brand claims that it can last up to 53 hours with ANC enabled and without ANC, it can go up to 92 hours.
Next up is the ED60. Powered by two dome tweeters with neodymium magnets, a mid-bass long-throw driver, and a passive bass radiator, it delivers a total of 34W of sound. Coming with an IP66 rating for dust and water resistance, it can last up to nine hours on a single charge. Additionally, it comes with ambient LED lighting, supports multi-device Bluetooth connectivity, stereo pairing, phone calls, and USB-C audio input.
The ES850NB gets a retail price of RM699 while the ES60 sports a RM649 price tag. However, both devices are currently on sale at RM479 and RM399 respectively on the company’s website.
