Apple has officially set the date for this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), with the event scheduled to begin on 10 June 2025. As with previous years, it will be available both online and in-person, held at Apple Park. The conference will run through 13 June and is expected to showcase the latest updates to Apple’s software ecosystem.

Though not mentioned in its announcement, Apple’s focus of WWDC 2025 will likely be on iOS 19, iPadOS 19, macOS, watchOS and tvOS, with reports suggesting significant design changes across Apple’s platforms. This could include an updated interface featuring redesigned icons, menus, and buttons for a more uniform experience across devices. Additionally, the company has been working on advancing artificial intelligence capabilities under the Apple Intelligence branding, and new AI-powered Siri enhancements could be among the highlights of the event.

As you may recall, Apple introduced Apple Intelligence with a preview of enhanced Siri capabilities last year, such as on-screen awareness and deeper app integration. However, these features have yet to be released, with reports indicating delays and leadership restructuring within the project. Industry speculation suggests that WWDC 2025 could bring further details on the company’s AI roadmap, possibly offering a clearer timeline for Siri’s evolution and new AI-driven functionalities.

Meanwhile, hardware announcements at WWDC are not guaranteed, but have happened in past years. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, additional hardware, such as a refreshed Mac Pro and second-generation AirTags, could be revealed during the event.
