Samsung Malaysia is officially bringing its 9100 Pro SSD into Malaysia. The M.2 SSD PCIe 5.0 SSD will be available from 4 April onwards.
The 9100 Pro will be available in four storage configurations: 1TB, 2TB, 4TB, and 8TB. While the first three will be available from the 4 April date, the 8TB variant will only be available from June onwards.
We first reported on the 9100 Pro back in February. The SSD is Samsung’s first PCIe 5.0 SSD, with average sequential read and write speeds of 14,800MB/s and 13,400MB/s, respectively. Samsung is offering the storage components in two physical options: with and without a heatsink.
Pricing for the 9100 Pro starts from RM679 for 1TB, RM1,068 for 2TB, and RM1,989 for 4TB. These prices are for the SSD without the heatsinks, by the by. For those eyeing the heatsink variant, prices start at RM745 for 1TB, RM1,149 for 2TB, and RM2,009 for 4TB.
