While the V50 just recently launched in Malaysia, vivo has now unveiled a new model in the series called the V50 Lite. As implied from the name, it is a stripped down version with a likely more affordable price tag along with only 4G support instead of 5G, but it does get a bigger battery.
The V50 Lite sports a 6.77-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak HDR brightness of 1,800 nits, and a peak global brightness of 1,300 nits. Under the hood, the entry-level device runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 chipset with support for 4G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC.

On the optics front, the phone packs a 50MP main camera, a depth sensor, and a 50MP front snapper. Backing it is a humongous 6,500mAh cell with support for 90W charging. For durability, it comes with an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance alongside a military-grade MIL-STD-810H drop resistance.

The V50 Lite retails at TRY18,999 (~RM2,295) in Turkiye but no global launch date has been announced yet. However, the phone has already been listed on the SIRIM database, meaning that we can expect the brand to launch the new model here soon.
