Tecno has officially brought over the Camon 40 Pro 4G to the Malaysian market. Costing a little more than previously expected, the phone is the first from the Camon 40 series to arrive in Malaysia, with the company yet to reveal a release date for the other models.
The Camon 40 Pro sports a 6.78-inch 1080p AMOLED display with curved sides and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it runs on a MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage as well as support for 4G, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 5, and NFC. On the durability side, it comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.

Imaging-wise, the mid-ranger packs a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP front snapper with autofocus. Backing it is a 5,200mAh cell with support for 45W charging. Additionally, it gets an under-display fingerprint scanner and a dedicated side-button to activate the camera and AI assistant.

The Tecno Camon 40 Pro is available for pre-order through the brand’s TikTok Shop page, with a retail price of RM899. It will go on sale starting 21 March 2025 in blue and black colour options.
