JBL has release two new Bluetooth speakers that succeed its previous lineups called the Flip 7 and the Charge 6. Both models are quite similar and are designed for outdoor portability, but the latter is notably heftier with a much longer battery life.
The Flip 7 comes with an upgraded tweet for better bass while the Charge 6 gets a beefed up woofer. Both speakers now come with support for the company’s AI Sound Boost technology, which claims to be able to boost volume without any distortion. Additionally, they are rated at IP68 for dust and water resistance and support stereo pairing with Auracast.

On the battery life, the Flip gets an extra two hours with a total playback time of 14 hours on a single charge. The Charge can last up to a whopping 24 hours with an additional four hours when Playtime Boost is enabled and with its large battery, it can also act as a powerbank for your other devices.

The Flip 7 has an asking price of US$149.95 (~RM664) while the Charge 6 gets a price tag of US$199.95 (~RM886). For now, there is no word yet on when either speakers will be available in Malaysia. For reference, the Flip 6 and Charge 5 retailed at RM749 and RM899 respectively.
