Bluesky will be enabling three-minute videos on its app, which is an improvement over the previous one-minute limit. Along with this, a new feature for managing direct messages will be made available, allowing users to filter their messages. Both of these new features will be included in the Bluesky version 1.99 rollout.
With the extended time limit, content creators on the app will be granted more flexibility in their posts. It will also help align the app with its competitors such as X and Meta’s Threads, both of which allow longer video uploads.
