The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to launch next month. With its rumoured 5.84 mm slimness, its fragility might be a concern for potential users. To set the record straight, Samsung mobile experience vice president of product and marketing in the UK, Annika Bizon, spoke about the concerns in an interview with TechRadar.
Without delving into the details much, Bizon says the phone’s durability would not be impacted by its slim design. She insisted that this particular aspect is important nonetheless, despite not being a primary selling point for the device.

It is possible that the upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge will have a unique take on this. Previous rumours have indicated a ceramic back, which would reportedly make it sturdy yet lightweight.
At this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, we had the chance to take a closer look at the Galaxy S25 Edge in person. However, since the display samples were off-limits to visitors, we couldn’t confirm whether the rear panel actually uses ceramic material.
