Nubia has finally introduced the new Focus 2 series, a budget smartphone lineup focused on a photography. The series is made up of the vanilla model as well as an Ultra model that gets a very interesting camera feature.
The Focus 2 Ultra sports a 6.8-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2,800 nits. Under the hood, it runs on a Unisoc Tiger T760 chipset paired with a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W charging.

For imaging, it gets a 50MP main camera and a 32MP selfie shooter, but the highlight is the rotatable ring on the lens, which can be used to zoom in and out. There is also a customisable physical slider on the side and a dedicated shutter button.

As for the vanilla model, it gets a 6.7-inch 720p display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. It runs on an unnamed 6nm octa-core processor with 5G support and is powered by a 5,000mAh cell that supports 22.5W charging. On the optics side, it gets a 108MP sensor but no lens ring.
ZTE, the parent company of Nubia, has officially announced that the Focus 2 will be launching in Malaysia on 24 March. However, it is unclear if the Ultra will also make its way here.
