Xiaomi has officially launched the POCO M7, the latest entry-level smartphone under its budget sub-brand. Similar to previous models from the M series, it is a rebadge of an existing Redmi device, with this one being a rebranded Redmi 14C 5G.
With that out of the way, it is not a surprise that the specs are exactly the same as its Redmi counterpart. The POCO M7 sports a 6.88-inch 720p LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 600 nits. Inside, the affordable phone runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset with support for 5G, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.0.

For imaging, it features a 50MP main camera alongside a depth sensor on the back, while the front houses an 8MP selfie snapper. Powering it is a 5,160mAh battery with support for 18W charging. As for security, it is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The POCO M7 comes in black, green, and blue colour options and gets a starting price of INR9,999 (~RM511) for the base 6GB+128GB trim and costs INR10,999 (~RM562) for the 8GB+128GB configuration. Currently, it is unknown when it, along with the Redmi 14C 5G, will be available in Malaysia.
