We’ve already seen leaks about the OPPO Find X8 Ultra and Mini getting leaked online last week, with some details of both being shared as well. More recently, shots of a phone that is claimed to be the former have appeared online. Though because it sports a puzzling look, there’s a chance that it’s either not the device it’s claimed to be, or it has a case on to hide the way it actually looks.
These shots come courtesy of leakster @ZionsAvin on X, with one image showing the front and the other showing the aforementioned odd look at the back. Of course, with only an 8GB+128GB memory and storage configuration, as well as a 3,000mAh battery and 18W charging, the shot of the front raises some questions too. Though it’s not entirely unheard of for engineering samples to show incorrect info on its About screen.

On that note, an OPPO exec has shared on Chinese social media Weibo that the OPPO Find X8 Ultra sports new hardware to allow night shots to be show better colours. There’s the whole machine translated “night god” hyperbole as well, but as is usual with such claims, the proof is in the pudding.
Separately, there’s a report out there that claims that the OPPO Find X8 Mini is getting renamed to the Find X8 Next. The report also mentions a March release date for both the Next and the Ultra, narrowing down the two-month window from the prior leak.
