ASUS has decided that your computing experience is missing one crucial element: Aromatherapy. No, really. Enter the ASUS Fragrance Mouse, a device that not only clicks and scrolls but also emits soothing scents to enhance your workspace.
The ASUS Fragrance Mouse features a built-in compartment at its base, where users can insert a refillable vial filled with aromatic oils. Want your workstation to smell like fresh citrus in the morning and calming chamomile by night? Simply swap out the vials, and your olfactory experience will be as customisable as your DPI settings.
Beyond its scent-dispersing capabilities, the ASUS Fragrance Mouse does still function as, well, a mouse. It comes equipped with PTFE feet for smooth gliding, three adjustable DPI settings (1200, 1600, and 2400), and durable switches rated for a 10-million-click lifespan.
The mouse supports both 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth connectivity, making it easy to pair with multiple devices. It does require a single AA battery that’s sold separately, however, which ASUS say will allow it to run up to a year.
The new Fragrance Mouse is available in Iridescent White and Rose Clay colourways. Unfortunately, ASUS has yet to reveal the pricing or availability, and it is unclear whether the mouse will be sold in Malaysia.
