The Sony LinkBuds Fit and Open TWS earbuds are officially available in Malaysia. Both earbuds models are priced at RM999, confirming that the initial prices listed on the official product page weren’t just placeholders.

To recap, the second-generation LinkBuds, now called LinkBuds Open, feature a revamped design to improve comfort. Sony replaced the firm, uncomfortable ring driver casing from the original version with a softer, more flexible fitting supporter. The updated 11mm ring driver maintains the open design for natural transparency, while enhanced components promise clearer sound and richer bass.

Battery life has also been boosted to eight hours, with a quick charge offering an hour of playback in just three minutes. This model will be available in blue, green, pink, purple, and black colours.

Moving on, the LinkBuds Fit prioritises comfort and fit based on user feedback. The earbuds are smaller, featuring flexible hollow Air Fitting Supporters and new ear tips. Inside, Sony’s Dynamic Driver X delivers improved sound quality, supported by the Integrated Processor V2 for enhanced noise cancellation and adaptive ambient sound. Battery-wise, it lasts five and a half hours and is available in blue, green, pink, purple, and black colours.

In conjunction with its launch, Sony is offering an early bird promotion for both LinkBuds models, from now until 31 December. Customers who purchase either earbuds will receive RM200 worth of exclusive gifts. These include earbud supporters worth RM459, a case cover worth RM99, and a limited edition Sony gym bottle. All while stocks last, naturally.

That’s not all. Sony is also offering RM100 for the TNG E-Wallet when you register your product warranty using a specially provided QR code upon purchase. The cutoff date for registration is set at 14 January 2025.
