Apple’s Upcoming M4 MacBook Pro Appear On Russian YouTube Channels

A warehouse leakage in the country is apparently to blame.

The upcoming M4 MacBook Pro has been talked about a bunch, particularly with it being launched later this month and available at the very start of the next. But perhaps no one expected them to appear in videos, in the metaphorical flesh. But that looks to be what has happened, as two Russian YouTubers have the laptop featured in their videos.

One of these videos of the M4 MacBook Pro breaking containment comes via the YouTube Channel Wylsacom, while another one comes from the channel known as Romancev768. On the outside, the laptops look mostly the same as their current M3 iterations, but the latter video does show a screen with the “About This Mac” page showing the M4 chip.

On one hand, there are a couple of the more eagle-eyed fans of Apple that have noted that the wallpaper on the packaging is the same as last year’s. The highlighting of this point may be an argument to the whole thing being faked, and that the M4 MacBook Pro has not actually gotten leaked. This may or may not mean much as it’s not exactly something that has never happened before.

But on the other hand, if this is a genuine, that means the possibility of a leak at an Apple warehouse. Frequent leakster ShrimpApplePro has chimed in on X claiming to have seen someone having 200 M4 MacBook Pro units in stock. All that being said, being this late in the game, Apple is probably not going to be changing its launch and availability schedule. The same probably can’t be said for its vendor contracts.
