CelcomDigi has announced a new promotion for its Fibre-To-The-Room add-on that greatly benefits new and existing fibre customers. For those who are subscribed to the telco’s 1Gbps plan, the base FTTR add-on is included free of charge.
The 1+1 FTTR plan is priced at a total of RM1,920, including installation, but it is currently being sold at a promotional price of RM1,176, which is divided into a 24-month instalment at RM49/month. This base plans gives you a router as well as a single slave unit for a wider Wi-Fi coverage in your house.
While the base plan promises speeds of up to 1Gbps in every room, the base FTTR plan is only suitable for homes up to up to 1500sqft. For bigger homes, you might have to consider the 1+2 plan that costs RM1,800 with a RM649 installation fee, while the 1+3 plan is priced at RM2,280 with a RM864 installation for a total of three slave units.
As previously mentioned, you will need to be subscribed to the 1Gbps fibre plan to get the free FTTR add-on. Only available with a 24-month contract, this plan will set you back RM249/month, but CelcomDigi postpaid customers can get it at RM239/month.
