Tecno has officially announced the Spark 30C, its latest addition to the Spark lineup. While still an affordable offering, the new phone is more costly than the Spark 20C, but it comes with a more powerful processor, an improved screen, better durability, and more RAM.
The Spark 30C sports a 6.67-inch 720p LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. For protection, it has an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, something that its predecessor lacked. Internally, the entry-level device runs on a MediaTek Helio G81 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM as well as 256GB of internal storage.
On the imaging side, the budget phone features the same setup as the Spark 20C, including a 50MP main camera, a depth sensor, and an 8MP selfie shooter. Backing it is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W charging. For connectivity, it supports 4G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and it even has an infrared blaster, but unfortunately, it does not support NFC.
In Malaysia, the Spark 30C retails for RM549 and comes in two colour options, namely white and black. It can be purchased through the brand’s TikTok Shop page and from 6 to 9 September, the phone is being offered at RM469.
