There have been a handful of leaks regarding the iPhone 16 up until now, but none of them have been about the way it looks. Until recently anyway, as images of what look to be dummies of the phone have appeared online. Of course, being dummies, there isn’t much that is being revealed, save for the camera bump at the back of the device.
These images have appeared on both Chinese social media site Weibo as well as Reddit, with the former looking to have the earlier posting date. Either way, the two images that show up on both only portray the rear of the iPhone 16, in black and what looks to be a creamy off-white.
As mentioned, the only thing that one can argue that is of significance that one can observe from these images is the camera bump. If these shots of the dummy phones are reflective of the real deal, the the bump may be taking up a bit less space, at the cost of being a bit taller. The LED flash is also notably not part of the bump this time around, but floating at the side of it.
Of course, your mileage may vary whether this is a good look for the iPhone 16 from the back or otherwise. While that “debate” rages on, the more important thing to keep in mind is taking these shots with a healthy dose of salt.
