ZTE is relaunching the Redmagic 9S Pro in Malaysia, this time with a RM200 price cut. The gaming phone was brought over here last month under a different distributor, but this time around, it comes with an official warranty from ZTE Malaysia along with that lower price tag.
To refresh your memory, the 9S Pro comes with a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 1,600 nits, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. Inside, the phone rocks a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version chipset paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. As a gaming device, of course it has a cooling system that includes a vapour chamber and a dedicated RGB fan in the back.
On the imaging side, the phone features a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor on the back, while the screen houses a 16MP under-display snapper. Powering it is a hefty 6,500mAh battery with support for 80W charging.
The 9S Pro gets a new starting price of RM3,499 for the base trim with 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM, while the 16GB+512GB configuration costs RM4,399. Pre-orders start from 10 August until 13 August 2024 and can be placed through the brand’s Shopee store.
