Razer Partners With Sanrio Again For Hello Kitty 50th Anniversary

The range is technically new, though one is simply an updated version of what came before.

Two years ago, Razer partnered with Sanrio for a batch of Hello Kitty special edition versions of the former’s peripherals and accessories. The collab is back, this time celebrating the latter’s 50th anniversary. As before, the range is reusing the same long name that is the Razer x Hello Kitty and Friends collection. That being said, none of these products are reruns, minus one which is an updated version of what was previously included in the collection.

Starting with said update, we have the Razer Kraken Kitty V2 bluetooth headset. There’s some minor cosmetic differences compared to both the first version as well as the vanilla version of the updated headset, but it is be identical to the non-special edition model otherwise.

Then there’s the mouse pad of the collection, which is now being represented by the Gigantus V2 Medium, rather than the Goliathus. The chair is also replaced, with the Iskur X slot being taken over by the Enki X. A new addition to the Hello Kitty and Friends collection though is a keyboard, or more specifically the Razer Ornata V3 TKL.

In terms of availability though, this is where things get a little confusing. Of the Razer x Hello Kitty and Friends collection, only the Kraken Kitty V2 and the Ornata V3 TKL are easily accessible via the brand’s official store, priced at RM829 and RM669, respectively.

The Enki X is a US exclusive. So that leaves the Gigantus V2 Medium, which the company says will only be available via select retailers for RM189. For all intents and purposes, while you can grab the mousepad if you see it in the wild, it would probably be better to forget about the chair.
