Back in March, U Mobile added a free WiFi 6 5G router to its U Home 5G bundle, the telco’s offering in the home internet space. Now, it looks like the orange telco is adding another element to the bundle, this time in the form of a Samsung 4K smart TV, specifically the Crystal UHD DU7000 model.
The bundled TV comes in a choice of four sizes, the choices being 50, 65, 75 and 85 inches. As is usual for a U Mobile device bundle, you have a choice of paying for the smart TV up front at a discounted price via U SaveMore, or to pay for it via installments with U PayLater. For the latter, the telco is also offering a limited time three-month installment waiver for customers who sign up before 31 October.
For the individual prices of the Samsung smart TVs, U Mobile is charging RM2,094 the 50-inch model, RM3,020 for the 65-inch model, RM4,930 for the 75-inch model and RM6,899 for the 85-inch model under the U SaveMore plans. Under U PayLater, minus the installment waiver, these are going for RM98, RM141, RM231 and RM325 a month respectively for 24-month installments, or RM65, RM94, RM154 and RM216 respectively for 36-month installments instead.
The other aspects of the U Mobile U Home 5G plans have remained unchanged in the past few months. As in, the plan itself still costs RM68 a month, while the free 5G router still comes with a two-year warranty and contract period.
