Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Watch FE for the Malaysian market. In case you missed it, the South Korean tech giant officially announced the new wearable globally in June, while we’ve also discovered its listing in SIRIM’s database earlier this month.
To quickly recap, the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE is revealed to feature a design similar to last year’s Watch6, but sans the rotating bezel. It also only comes in a single 40mm size and is offered in three colour variants: Pink Gold, Black, and Silver. The former two include straps of the same colour scheme, while the latter comes with a baby blue strap.
In terms of specifications, the budget-friendly model offers a 1.2-inch 396 x 396 Super AMOLED always-on display, an Exynos W920 chipset, 1.5GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage. Additionally, it comes with a 247mAh battery, Wear OS via One UI Watch 5.0, as well as IP68, 5ATM and MIL-STD-810H ratings.
Samsung Malaysia has confirmed that the Galaxy Watch FE will be available locally today onwards at RM799, exclusively online via its web store. To commemorate the wearable’s launch, the brand is also offering a special promotion where buyers can score an additional RM150 off via its website with every purchase of its selected devices.
