Touch ‘n Go eWallet Visa Card Now Offers Up To 2% Cashback For Overseas Spending

The promo is running until the end of the year.

Touch ‘n Go has launched a new promotion for its eWallet Visa Card, offering a cashback reward for overseas spending. The campaign is running from 1 July 2024 until 31 December 2024, with the company offering up to 2% in cashback, making it an advantageous card to use when travelling within this period.

The 2% Touch ‘n Go cashback promo only applies to in-store payments using a POS (Point of sale) terminal. For international online payments, you can still get a cashback for these transaction, but they are limited to 1%. The cashback will be credited to your eWallet account after each eligible transaction.

Not all overseas spending is eligible for the cashback promo. Some of the excluded transactions include Pakistan Air, taxi rides, petrol, e-wallet top-ups, currency exchanges, insurance payments, charity donations, religious donations, taxes, and gambling. TnG’s Visa Card currently has a RM15 application fee and an RM8 annual fee. For ATM cash withdrawals, the platform charges RM1.40 for domestic withdrawals and RM10 for cross-border withdrawals. If you plan on spending using QR codes with TnG eWallet instead, keep in mind that it now charges a 1% conversion fee for each overseas QR payment.
