Clicks Keyboard, the new physical keyboard case for iPhones that was released earlier this year, has made its way to the Malaysian market. Designed by Clicks Technology, a UK-based firm co-founded by tech YouTuber MrMobile, the accessory snaps onto your phone like any other case, but with a connector that powers the built-in keyboard.
Despite its small size, the Clicks Keyboard contains a full QWERTY keyboard with tab, text-to-speech, command, and global key buttons. Moreover, the keys are even backlit, so you can type in the dark. For charging, the case supports passthrough wired charging as well as wireless charging, but wired Apple CarPlay with the case on only works for the iPhone 14 series.
On the software side, the keyboard has access to iOS’ Shortcuts app, meaning that you can map certain buttons for certain actions. The company also made an app where you can set the brightness levels of the keys, the dim timeouts, the battery optimisation options, and more.
The Clicks Keyboard is available for pre-order from today until 19 July 2024. It starts from RM669 for the iPhone 14, 14 Pro, 15, and 15 Pro. The case for the iPhone 14 Pro Max, 15 Plus, and 15 Pro Max gets a price tag of RM769. For retail stores, it will be exclusively available at Swap Asia outlets starting from August.
