realme Malaysia has released a new promo on its Facebook page, teasing the arrival of an upcoming smartphone for the local market. While it did not specifically name the device, the same image used by the company’s branch in India (shown above) reveals that the device is part of its next-gen midrange line-up, the realme 13 Pro series.
Unfortunately, not much is known regarding the handset at this time, though realme is hinting it to be its “first professional AI camera phone”. The same image also revealed the realme 13 Pro sporting a rounded camera island, along with a “Hyperimage+” branding located beneath the shooters.
According to GSMArena, a listing of a Plus version of the realme 13 Pro was recently spotted in the US’ Federal Communications Commission (FCC) database. It is revealed that this variant comes with a battery capacity of 5,050mAh and runs on Android 14.
The company did not provide a launch date for the realme 13 Pro series just yet, though it did mention that a media preview is slated to happen in Bangkok this Thursday on 4 July 2024. Whether or not the phone will debut sometime after that remains to be seen.
