ASUS Malaysia has announced that the Vivobook S 15 will be going on sale starting 12 July. The laptop, which is the brand’s first laptop to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite processor and also its first CoPilot+ PC, will retail at an SRP of RM6,299.

Specs-wise, the Vivobook S 15 is equipped with the X1E-78-100 processor, which is the lower-rung of the X Elite SKUs. It sports 12 Oryon Cores with a multi-threaded performance of 3.4GHz but no dual-core boost. Moving on, the laptop will ship with 32GB LPDDR5X RAM running at a frequency of 8,448MHz, and will have 1TB of PCIe 4.0 storage.

The display of the Vivobook S 15 is a 15.6-inch Lumina OLED panel, with a adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz with a maximum resolution of 3.2K (2,880 x 1,620) pixels. Ports-wise, the laptop features two USB-A 3.2 Gen1 ports, two USB4 ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, one audio jack combo, and a microSD card reader. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7 via Qualcomm’s FastConnect 7800 module, as well as Bluetooth 5.3.

The Vivobook S 15 will only be available in one colourway for the Malaysian market, and that is Cool Silver. It is already up for preorder online as well, via the official ASUS Shopee store page. To sweeten the pot, ASUS is also offering a special preorder deal: starting today until 9 July, customers who preorder the laptop will also receive a 4-port 100W GAN charger worth RM698 and a 1-year extended warranty, while stocks last.
