Huawei officially launched its latest Matebook X Pro 2024 laptop today. It’s the brand’s latest thin-and-light machine, designed with style as well as ultra portability in mind, along with a healthy does of modern day powerhouse components.

Internally, the new Matebook X Pro houses either an Intel Core Ultra (CU) 7 155H or a Core Ultra 9 185H CPU, both of which are from Intel’s Meteor Lake mobile CPU series. Additionally, the laptop comes with up to 32GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 2TB NVMe Gen4 storage, and weighs just under a kilogram. For I/O connectivity, the laptop comes with three USB-C ports, two of which are Thunderbolt 4 ports.

As for the display of the new MateBook X Pro, it’s a 14.2-inch display, with 3K (3120 x 2100) resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, up from 90Hz with the previous model. Additionally, it is also a touchscreen and has a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. Powering all up is a 70Whr battery that supports 140W fast-charging. And yes, this is technically an AI PC.

Huawei has already opened up preorders for the Matebook X Pro 2024, with prices starting from RM8,999 for the CU7 model, while the model with the CU9 will retail for RM10,999. In conjunction with the preorder period, Huawei will also be bundling each purchase of the laptop with free gifts worth RM4,582, while stocks last.
