Not long after listing its Momentum Sport earbuds, it appears that Sennheiser has also quietly launched its Momentum True Wireless 4 for the Malaysian market. Those interested can purchase it directly via the brand’s official website, as well as its online stores on Shopee and Lazada.
The Momentum True Wireless 4 is Sennheiser’s latest flagship earbuds. It sports a similar design as its predecessor, complete with an accompanying charging case that features a premium woven-like texture.
Each bud is equipped with the brand’s 7mm TrueResponse dynamic drivers that can deliver up to 96kHz high-resolution audio. Thanks to the onboard Qualcomm S5 Sound Gen 2 platform with Snapdragon Sound, the Momentum True Wireless 4 can support SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LC3 codecs.
Also featured is an improved adaptive noise cancelling (ANC) feature that’s powered by the built-in six microphone array. Like its predecessor, a low-noise Transparency Mode is accessible with a tap, which allows for external noise to pass through when needed. You can also adjust the ANC levels further through Sennheiser’s Smart Control mobile app that’s available on iOS and Android.
Besides that, the earbuds provide different features like Sound Personalisation, Sound Zone, and Sound Check. All of which can be accessed and tuned via the mobile app mentioned earlier. Additionally, Bluetooth LE Audio with LC3 and Auracast support are available as well.
As for battery life, Sennheiser claims that the Momentum True Wireless 4 is capable of lasting up to seven and a half hours of continuous playtime with ANC disabled, and up to seven with the feature enabled. Using it together with the accompanying charging case will tally up the usage time up to 30 hours in total. Charging is done through a USB-C port that’s situated in front of the case, while Qi wireless charging is also supported.
The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 is available now, priced at RM1,699 – the same price as the equally new Momentum Sport. In terms of colour options, it is available in Black Graphite, Black Copper, and White Silver.
