Shopee has published the cut-off dates for parcels to be delivered before this year’s Raya celebration. The holiday is falling on 10 April this year and with that, select couriers are actually still accepting parcels for a Raya delivery right up until the day before.
For East Malaysia, each supported courier has their last posting day on 2 April 2024 except for Flash express, which has a cut-off date of 1 April. On the other hand, Peninsular customers can still get their packages before Raya if the item is posted out by 9 April at the latest, depending on the courier used.
While it sounds great that there are at least four shipping options that can accept parcels right up to the day before, it will depend on your luck as to which courier exactly is handling the delivery. If you may recall, Shopee removed the option for customers to choose a specific courier for their orders back in 2021.
As for Lazada, the other giant e-commerce player in the country, it has not posted the cut-off dates for Raya 2024 yet. Last year, its cut-off date for all shipping providers was four days before Raya.
