LG Electronics Malaysia (LG) has unveiled its latest 27-inch MyView Smart Monitor 27SR50F, which is available for pre-order now. As implied by its name, this new display is capable of functioning on its own without needing to be paired with a PC or other external devices.
The LG MyView 27SR50F features a 27-inch IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 16:9 aspect ratio, 14ms response time, 16.7M colour depth, and NTSC 72% colour gamut. It also comes with HDR 10 support, auto brightness and flicker safe features, dual onboard 5W stereo speakers, a remote control, and a tiltable stand.
I/O-wise, found on the smart monitor is a single HDMI port, a USB-A downstream port, and Wi-Fi connectivity to power its built-in apps and so on. Speaking of which, its onboard webOS 23 platform features a web browser, Home Office apps, AirPlay 2 and Screen Share screen mirroring support, ThinQ Home Hub support, numerous built-in streaming services, and more.
Another notable feature offered by the MyView 27SR50F is the Home Board Screen, which keeps users connected with personalised sports profiles and customisable sports service cards. There’s also the LG Mood Music function, which acts as a personal DJ that curates playlists based on user preferences.
The new LG MyView Smart Monitor 27SR50F is priced at RM1,049. Pre-orders for the display are available exclusively via the brand’s official online store on Lazada until 21 January 2024.
