Black Shark has recently introduced three new products for the Malaysian market. Among which is the Pro variant of its flagship smartwatch that launched back in August, the Black Shark S1. What’s unique about the high-end model is the Chat GPT integration on its built-in voice assistant, but more on that later.
For starters, the new Black Shark S1 Pro packs a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with 466 x 466 px resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, and up to 600 nits peak brightness. Its design is much more rugged when compared to the vanilla variant, and is rated IP68 in water and dust resistance. In Malaysia, the smartwatch is available in Black and Blue colour options.
The Pro model offers over 150 watch faces, as well as numerous fitness and health tracking capabilities including heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep and even gaming health monitoring. Perhaps the biggest highlight of them all is the aforementioned onboard voice assistant, which relies on Chat GPT to answer all of your “random and serious” questions with ease.
Apart from that, the new smartwatch also provides Bluetooth-based calling and notifications, as well as NFC support. In terms of battery, Black Shark says a single charge on the Pro model is capable of lasting up to 15 days of regular use and up to 30 days via extended standby.
Next up is the Black Shark S1 Classic, which is essentially the base model but with a fancier design, more buttons, and slight differences in specifications. Like the Pro variant, it too comes with a 1.43-inch AMOLED display and IP68 water/dust resistance.
There’s no Chat GPT integration, but onboard are over 150 watch faces and over 100 fitness modes, as well as various health tracking capabilities such as sleep and heart rate monitoring. According to Black Shark, the S1 Classic is capable of lasting up to 12 days of regular use and up to 30 days on standby.
Last but not least is the Black Shark TWS Lucifer T9 earbuds. This model offers 13mm Dynamic Drivers, touch-based controls, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, and environmental noise cancelling (ENC) for calls. Each side is capable of lasting up to 7 hours of playback, while its accompanying case provides an additional 33 hours – totalling up to 40 hours of usage when combined.
The new Black Shark S1 Pro is priced at RM399, while the S1 Classic and Lucifer T9 are at RM279 and RM129 respectively. All three devices are available now for purchase via the brand’s official online store on Shopee and Lazada.
