TNG Digital announced the GOprotect insurance hub in the Touch ‘n Go eWallet app earlier this year, from which you can get all manner of insurance plans. The range includes those for travel, as well as your car and home. Also listed was CI Insure for critical illnesses. This is now being expanded to what the company calls Insure360 which is health insurance in general, meaning that it hosts options for both medical insurance as well as critical illness coverage.
As before, you can customise your health insurance plan under Insure360 so that it suits your needs. This means allowing you to get different critical illness and medical insurance coverage pairing options in addition to just getting the convenient 2-in-1 bundle, and with no medical examination required. TNG Digital says that “additionally, when diagnoses with a critical illness, users will receive a lump sum payout of up to RM100,000 and a lifestyle assistance allowance from the plan”.
Worth noting is that the insurance company that’s partnering with TNG Digital in providing the INsure360 service is AIA Malaysia. At any rate, this means premiums starting from as low as RM10 a month. That being said, this will inevitably vary based on age and gender, and is renewable annually up to the age of 70.
