It appears that Apple has quietly bumped up the prices for its Apple One service in Malaysia. As listed on the all-in-one subscription’s page on the company’s website, monthly fees now start from RM34.90 per month – RM5 more than what was previously charged.

It is unclear as to when Apple had increased the subscription fees for Apple One, but a quick check on WayBack Machine revealed that the change has been done very recently as prices for each tier were still unchanged on 21 October 2023. As mentioned earlier, pricing for the Individual subscription is now at RM34.90/month, while the Family and Premier plans are at RM44.90/month and RM84.90/month respectively. For your reference, each tier is previously priced at RM29.90/month, RM39.90/month and RM78.90/month respectively.

But that’s not all though, as it’s been discovered that the pricing for Apple Arcade has also been bumped. As of now, subscription fees for the service now starts from RM29.90/month, which is a RM10 increment over its previous monthly pricing. WayBack Machine indicates that Apple may have changed prices for both Apple One and Arcade at around the same time.

Fortunately, standalone fees for other services offered under Apple One such as Apple TV+, iCloud+ and Fitness+ remains unchanged. As before, these are still priced from RM29.90/month, RM3.90/month and RM19.90/month respectively. There’s no indication that Apple will increase the monthly subscription fees for all three services just yet.
