Proper internet coverage and connectivity in our home is something that we take for granted and will only appreciate when it’s gone. And there’s nothing more frustrating than laying on your bed only for that place to be a dead zone while the rest of your home has perfect WiFi connectivity.

Well, worry no more, as Time Internet has partnered up with Huawei to bring you powerful internet speeds in every room and every corner of your home with their new Gig Speed Home thanks to their FTTR system.

What is it, you might ask?

Fibre to the Room (FTTR) is a new home network coverage mode as well as another technological evolution and upgrade of home networking. This new system provides Wi-Fi 6 Gigabit coverage throughout your home, ensuring internet connectivity with low latency, high quality, and high stability.

It’s capable of giving 1Gbps consistently and can overlap its signal, allowing you to roam around in your space without experiencing delay thanks to its handover latency of 20 milliseconds. Not only that, but you also have real-time control of Wi-Fi network status on a mobile app for a one-click diagnosis and remote recovery.

Huawei’s innovative FTTR for Home solution, recognised by operators as an optimal broadband networking solution, has been delivering premium true-gigabit Wi-Fi networks with stable connectivity to users since its release in 2020. By July 2023, more than 90 Chinese provincial operators had launched packages based on this solution. In addition, more than 20 operators from Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia Pacific have collaborated with Huawei on providing this revolutionary home networking services.

This state-of-the-art service that Time Internet is bringing to Malaysia for the first time aims to solve the problem that has plagued Malaysian households: poor and unsatisfactory internet connections. That is why the internet service provider has partnered up with HUAWEI, making high-speed internet more affordable for everyone via the latter’s FTTR OptiXstar F30, so that users can enjoy lower latency, at <20 ms, across 128 concurrent devices with free installation.

Despite this, this begs the question: Is it worth it? To some, not really, as this service has significantly high upfront costs, with limited coverage and a limited speed of only 1Gbps. However, the Gig Speed Home can provide what others are in need of: consistent high-speed internet in every corner of their house and the ability to cover a wide array of devices. FTTR is perfect for those who reside in large houses, have various automated technologies that power the home, or simply want to be at the forefront of innovation.

Interested in being the first to receive the next level of high-speed internet? Check out Time Internet’s Gig Speed Home page. Don’t forget to also follow their Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok pages to stay up-to-date with all their latest news, deals, and more.
