Just like it did with the Galaxy A05s earlier this month, Samsung has quietly unveiled the local pricing for the Galaxy A05, the more affordable version of the entry-level duo. The phone comes in a single variation and is available in light green, black, and silver.
The Galaxy A05 sports a 6.6-inch 720p PLS LCD display and runs on a Mediatek Helio G85 chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage alongside a microSD card slot for up to 1TB of storage expansion. For connectivity, it supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.3 — of course, it also rocks the 3.5mm headphone jack.

On the back, you’ll find a 50MP primary camera that supports up to 10x digital zoom as well as a 2MP depth sensor — it’s missing the macro lens from the A05s. Up front, the phone features a smaller 8MP front shooter. Powering the budget device is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging.
The Galaxy A05 is available for RM649 in all three colours with a promo for a free extended warranty from now until 30 October 2023. There is also a trade-in rebate of RM100 and if you choose to pay in instalments, it will cost you RM18 per month.
