It appears that Samsung is now finally gearing up to launch the much rumoured 2023 Galaxy FE products in Malaysia soon. Based on our most recent discovery, two devices from the line-up have been spotted in SIRIM’s database, indicating their imminent arrival for the local market.
The products in question are the Galaxy S23 FE and the Galaxy Buds FE. According to the database entries, both devices had only received their respective approvals from SIRIM sometime last week, with the former (model number SM-S711B/DS) dated on 22 September 2023 while the latter (SM-R400N) on 20 September. Apart from their model numbers and names, product category and other miscellaneous information, not much details regarding the two are revealed through these listings.
It is also worth noting that you can already find the support pages for both products on Samsung Malaysia’s website. As of writing, there exists a total of six pages for the Galaxy S23 FE and two for the Galaxy Buds FE, which may or may not represent the different variants that will be available for the market.
Interestingly, the third member of the 2023 Galaxy FE line-up, the Galaxy S9 Tab FE, is still nowhere to be found on SIRIM’s database or the brand’s local website. While it may seem that Samsung might be leaving out its budget-friendly tablet for the Malaysian market, it is also possible that the device might not have received its approval just yet.
Serving as another indicator of the line-up’s imminent debut across the globe is a leaked promo visual featuring all three FE devices, which was apparently shared by Samsung accidentally via its official Argentina website. As you’d expect, the image was taken down soon after, but not before certain details were picked up by visitors. According to SamMobile, one of which is the series’ launch date that’s revealed to happen next month on 4 October 2023.
Hopefully we’ll learn more about the upcoming Galaxy FE line-up soon from Samsung itself. Provided that the leaked date is accurate, it is very likely the company may release an official announcement in the coming days or weeks.
